Shri Laxmi Narasimha temple, Veling, Goa
A 18th century temple, idol is more than 800 years old. It was brought from Salcete in the year 1580 by Shenvi , Nayak and Kelekar families.
The courtyard has a beautiful water tank and a musicians gallary.
Till 1850 this place was well known for performing arts. Many artists aspired to show case their talent during the festivals in this temple.
Portuguese land record mentions this temple : Templo de Narasimha (Homem-Leao).
A scenic calm place for worship and witness artists workmanship with the display of Bhagwan Vishnus incarnation stories with its significance.
