الملتقى العراقي للترويج السياحي
العراق أرض الحضارات وموطن أولى المدن، ومهد الكتابة والقانون، وملتقى التاريخ والتراث الإنساني. فمن أور وبابل ونينوى إلى بغداد وسامراء والنجف وكربلاء والموصل والبصرة، تزخر بلادنا بمعالم أثرية وتراثية وسياحية تجعلها متحفًا مفتوحًا على مر العصور، ووجهة تستحق أن يتعرف عليها العالم.
إننا في الملتقى العراقي للترويج السياحي نسعى إلى إبراز هذا الإرث الحضاري والإنساني، والتعريف بما يملكه العراق من ثروات طبيعية وثقافية وسياحية. فالسياحة ليست مجرد رحلة ترفيهية، بل هي قطاع اقتصادي واعد قادر على دعم التنمية، وتوفير فرص عمل، وتنشيط الحركة التجارية والثقافية، وتعزيز صورة العراق عالميًا.
ومن هنا ندعو المؤسسات الرسمية وغير الرسمية، والهيئات الثقافية والإعلامية، إلى التعاون في هذا المشروع الوطني، كما نؤكد أن للمواطن دورًا أساسيًا في التعريف بمدينته ومعالمها، ليكون شريكًا في بناء صناعة سياحية حقيقية.
معًا نجعل من السياحة جسرًا يربط بين الماضي العريق والمستقبل الواعد.

Iraqi Tourism Promotion Forum
Iraq is the land of civilizations and the birthplace of the first cities, the cradle of writing and law, and the crossroads of history and human heritage. From Ur, Babylon, and Nineveh to Baghdad, Samarra, Najaf, Karbala, Mosul, and Basra, our country abounds with archaeological, heritage, and tourist attractions that make it an open museum throughout the ages and a destination worthy of global recognition.
At the Iraqi Tourism Promotion Forum, we seek to highlight this cultural and human heritage and introduce Iraq's natural, cultural, and touristic resources. Tourism is not merely a leisure trip; it is a promising economic sector capable of supporting development, providing job, stimulating commercial and cultural activity, and enhancing Iraq's global image.
We therefore call on official and unofficial institutions, as well as cultural and media organizations, to cooperate in this national project. We also emphasize that citizens have a fundamental role in promoting their city and its landmarks, as partners in building a true tourism industry.
Together we make tourism a bridge between the ancient past and the promising future.
