Had some fun snorkeling with sharks this morning! Fun fact: the largest annual aggregation in the world gathers at La Jolla Shores every year between July and September. They are simply beautiful!! 🦈

Made it to country #49 -- ICELAND!Apparently I'm here during a "heat wave"... which means 62°F... Still far too cold and windy for me, but at least the scenery is worth it!

Remember back on Norwegian Constitution Day May 17 when I (half-jokingly) said I needed to make it back to Norway soon...? Once that idea was in my head I just couldn't let it go!! In the past month or so, plans have come together very nicely. Can't wait to return to this extraordinary country next week and take more scary photos to send home to mom! 🏔🙃
