Check out this awesome project which was one made from scratch! There was literally just concrete to start on.
Now one year after the opening, we can see the fruits of a good strategy, concept and hard work by the amazing staff. What a succes just in one year!

In the middle of the fishing season, I can't help getting excited for the upcoming winter projects. This comes after getting the great news that last couple of winters efforts is paying off in form of a tool and knife concept I did for Mustad. Products like this is a bit out of my normal line of work which design wise could be an advantage for a new approach.
Adapting the brands new brand frame into the product and develop a new sustainable packaging from scratch has been a challenge. But we landed it and so I'm really proud to see these ranges being a success for Mustad. Further more, the strange looking Hero Plier brought yet another industrial award 💪

My first product award. USA 2007.
What a life I have had being able to combine my two strongest passions, fly fishing around the world and designing fly fishing gear for it.
Being educated designer and living the ideal of doing your own and not the others, innovation is in my nature. - Unfortunately often a misused word in my line of work.
In my carrier, it all mixed in in a big pile of product design, graphic design, marketing, brand strategy, managing, writing, fishing, guiding, lectures, movies and God knows what. But it all starts with one thing, passion. This fly reel got me my first product award in Gods own country, USA. It started with the idea born from my one passion, fly fishing. Then it goes into my next step designing with functional innovation. Already at these two births, the story is made for the product and for the end user. Being a perfectionist and working with minimalistic design took it the last bit of the road to get an award which I’m truly grateful for!
I schetched the TX2 reel up in 2005 and the award fell in 2007. I further more made several other fly reels, fly rods, lines, clothing, waders and accessories. Busy days back then building a company with the two masters, Magnus and Lars.

Long time no see guys.

Here an interview from Angling International. It's about a part of the new company strategy for Mustad I presented in 2017. It is now reality! Just wait and see what around the corner with this brand.

Also a small section about my "baby", the Triangle Hooks. This was interesting since I did more than just the product. I made the story and wrapped it in ... sustainable packing : )
This product one a Efttex award at the 2018 show. My second Efttex award and two years in a row : )
