First New Album Cycle From the Duo
“pets” is the first public offering from a complete collaborative album by Thesis Sahib and k-the-i???.
The single begins a four-month rollout leading into the November 6 album release, followed by a separate remix project in January 2027. That extended schedule provides multiple editorial, media and audience-development opportunities.
Kenny Segal Remix
Los Angeles producer Kenny Segal provides the single’s principal remix, expanding his creative relationship with k-the-i??? beyond their recent collaborative album.
Segal’s involvement gives the single immediate relevance to listeners following contemporary independent rap, abstract production and the Backwoodz-adjacent ecosystem.
Thesis Sahib Chiptune Rework
Thesis Sahib rebuilds the track through the handmade electronic language central to his practice: modified Game Boys, circuit-bent equipment, damaged digital textures and chiptune architecture.
The rework is not a novelty remix. It connects directly to his identity as a producer, electronic instrument builder and multidisciplinary artist.
