Iceland.

A place we didn’t just visit…
but chose to call home.

Somewhere between glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls and endless landscapes — we found something more than just beautiful views.
We found a place that feels real.

This is where we live, work, and explore every day.
And this is what we want to share with you.

Not just places…
but the feeling of being here.

This is one of those places where the weather is the experience.
One moment it’s calm and quiet… the next, the wind is sweeping sand across the ground like smoke.

📍 Stokksnes — one of those places that just hits differently

Located on the southeast coast of Iceland, Stokksnes is known for its black sand dunes and the dramatic Vestrahorn mountain rising straight out of the ocean.

• The dunes here are constantly shaped by strong coastal winds — the landscape changes all the time
• Vestrahorn is made of gabbro, which gives it those sharp, dark peaks
• On calm days, you can catch perfect reflections of the mountain in small water pools
• It’s also one of the best photography spots in Iceland — especially at sunrise and sunset

Simple place, but seriously impressive.

💎 Diamonds on a black sand beach… but they won’t last long

At Diamond Beach, pieces of glacier ice wash ashore and sparkle like crystals against the black volcanic sand.

Each one has traveled from the glacier, through the lagoon, and into the ocean — only to return for a short, shining moment before melting away.

Blink and it’s gone.

🎬 This place doesn’t just look like a movie set… it actually is one

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon has appeared in films like James Bond and Batman Begins — but what makes it truly special is that no scene here can ever be repeated.

Icebergs drift, flip, and disappear.
Light changes by the minute.
The landscape you see today… won’t exist tomorrow.

That’s why filmmakers come here —
because nature is doing what no studio ever could.

No CGI.
No green screen.
Just a place that rewrites itself every single day. ❄️

Hidden in plain sight near Vík… a cave that looks straight out of another galaxy.

Yoda Cave at Hjörleifshöfði is one of those places that surprises you the moment you step inside. From the outside it looks like just another opening in the rock — but walk in, turn around… and suddenly you see it.

The perfect silhouette of Yoda staring out over Iceland’s black sand plains.

A mix of nature, illusion, and a bit of movie magic ✨

Would you like to see it with your own eyes?

Hjörleifshöfði — a mountain with stories hidden in every direction.

This solitary hill rising from the black sand plains is named after Hjörleifur, one of Iceland’s first settlers. According to legend, he was betrayed and killed here by his own slaves shortly after arriving in Iceland, and it’s believed he was buried on top of this very mountain.

But that’s not all.

At the base of Hjörleifshöfði you’ll find the famous Yoda Cave — a hidden spot where the opening naturally forms the shape of Yoda’s face. Step inside and you’ll see it… you can’t unsee it.

A place where history, legends, and a bit of Star Wars magic meet.

Would you explore it?

Seals living their best life at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon 🧊

Floating icebergs, winter silence, and these guys just chilling like they own the place.

Honestly… they kind of do.

Did you know you can often spot seals here all year round?

Moments like this are even better in person.
We’d love to show you.

A few facts about Sólheimajökull glacier 🧊

• Sólheimajökull is an outlet glacier of the larger Mýrdalsjökull ice cap, which sits on top of the famous Katla volcano.

• The glacier is constantly moving — it slowly flows downhill under its own weight.

• Dark lines you see in the ice are volcanic ash layers from past eruptions.

• The glacier has been retreating rapidly in recent decades, forming the lagoon you see today.

• The beautiful blue ice appears when compressed glacier ice absorbs all colors of light except blue.
