Sometimes the most beautiful discoveries happen by accident... 🪷

Today I found this incredible lotus lake just minutes from Alba! You can see only a few flowers are open because I made a rookie mistake with timing.

Here’s what most people don’t know: lotus flowers have their own daily rhythm - they bloom at sunrise and close in the afternoon. I arrived at the worst possible time! 🌅

The real secret? (This is what locals told me after...) If you want to see the true magic, you need to be there between 6-8 AM when dozens of lotus flowers slowly open with the first light. The transformation is breathtaking! ✨

I can’t share the exact location because the wonderful owner keeps this sanctuary peaceful, but follow me because I’m going back at the RIGHT time to show you what I missed!

We’re planning special sunrise yoga sessions here... imagine meditation as lotus flowers bloom around you in complete silence. This is authentic, undiscovered Italy.
