Just look at this place and sigh, it’s the essence of Italy! Join us for a week of high summer creativity and dolce vita in July 2027.

The garden, with its lush greenery, against the beautiful apricot stucco walls of the villa and the wonderful Italian architecture make this place a dream to paint and draw.

We will again be staying at the magnificent VILLA LE MURA, tucked underneath the beautiful Umbrian town of PANICALE, and enjoying its elegant gardens and rooms as well as its spacious cantinas as our studio for the week. There will also be time for relaxing and enjoying the views from the terraces and pool!

There’s an old Tuscan saying that translates as ‘a little rain in the street means a lot of work in the studio…’ OK, that’s not actually true but it’s often the way it goes. This wonderfully talented group worked extremely hard both in sunshine and in showers and produced some vibrant and outstanding results. Great work everyone!

Today we said ‘buon viaggio’ to this lovely group. We dodged some April showers at the start of the week, but that only meant more time for work in the studio! After a couple of days the sun came out and we were back on track with some glorious weather. Lots of laughter, friendship forged and some fantastic work produced! Well done everyone!
