Aosta Valley Conditions Report: Sunny with a chance of pillows! We’ve had slow but steady accumulation over the past few weeks with some notable storms to the south. After all that snow, the sun breaking out has the Alta Quota team heading for their favorite powder stashes.
With more snow in the forecast (you can see it rolling in to the valley at the end of the video) and the heli ski season in full swing now is the perfect time to plan a visit ❄️

The Ski Cave: Episode 4- scraping skis & the importance of a sharp scraper.
A few points to add- when I say “you need one of these” it’s highly likely that I’m actually referring to my whisky coke, but the bench mounted wax scraper is also helpful. I think that a sharp scraper is potentially the most important piece of kit for your personal ski cave. Also they make an electric one (scraper sharpener, not cocktail) which is a great splurge if you want to make your wax cave bougier but can’t afford an IR waxer.
