"BICI IN SPALLA!" (Bikes on shoulders) and up we go! 🚲💪

Some villages in Italy simply have to be conquered step by step. Reaching Santo Stefano di Sessanio, right in the heart of Abruzzo, means tackling its steep alleys and ancient stone stairways.

And when cycling cleats become a public hazard on the smooth stone... out come the flip-flops! A real medieval "cross-training" session. 😂

The sweat is all part of the adventure, but we promise that the beauty of this place (and the amazing food waiting for us) makes it 100% worth it. Who's ready for the next climb? 👇

If you've ever travelled to Greece, you've probably noticed these tiny Orthodox churches by the side of the road. They are called Kandylakia (Καντηλάκια)! ⛪💙

They are not just simple decorations; they serve a very important purpose: they protect travellers on the most winding roads and act as a reminder to drive (or cycle!) carefully.
Inside, you will always find a lit oil lamp and an icon of a patron saint. 🙏

It's a small detail along the way that speaks of love, memory, and the deep-rooted culture of the Greek people.
