È da ormai 10 anni che non vediamo il Martirio di San Sebastiano di Giovan Antonio Bazzi detto Il Sodoma. Manca dalla Galleria degli Uffizi dal 2015 e non è visibile in nessun museo fiorentino.

Abbiamo fatto domande, interrogato curatori e spedito mail, ma non abbiamo ricevuto alcuna risposta. Agli Uffizi ci siamo andati di persona e, dopo varie telefonate ai diversi dipartimenti (fatte in nostra presenza), la riposta che ci è giunta è stata “Non siamo in grado di dirlo con certezza”.

Vi chiediamo di diffondere questo post per recuperare informazioni su questo straordinario capolavoro che da troppo tempo giace occultato alla vista del suo pubblico.

We would like to wish you all a very happy start of the new year with Michelangelo’s ‘flayed’ self portrait in the Sistine Chapel.

It seems that Michelangelo’s poetry at this time is full of metaphors relating to the shedding of skin. In a sonnet written for his beloved Tommaso de’ Cavalieri, he praises the selflessness of the silkworm that ‘with pain and suffering’ sheds its own covering, and ‘clothes another’s hand’. He wishes that his own dead skin could clothe Tommaso’s living skin by being made into a gown and slippers.

If that’s not love, I don’t know what is!

Happy 2024 to those who are madly in love, those who wish to be, those who thought they had found love but were wrong, those who never lost hope!

Mosca ha già iniziato i rastrellamenti nei locali q***r e molte persone sono già state arrestate. Siamo ormai giunti alla persecuzione effettiva.

Previste pene da un minimo di 12 anni di carcere per chiunque ne venga ritenuto parte. La decisione della Corte suprema del paese vieta anche qualunque riunione o servizio dedicato, compresi quelli psicologici o legali
