Are you in Italy now? Did you know that this coming up Tuesday is June 2 and to celebrate the "๐‘ญ๐’†๐’”๐’•๐’‚ ๐’…๐’†๐’๐’๐’‚ ๐‘น๐’†๐’‘๐’–๐’ƒ๐’ƒ๐’๐’Š๐’„๐’‚", many museums across the entire country will offer ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐ž? Now you do! If Tuesday doesn't work for you, also make note that the following Sunday, June 7, as the first Sunday of the month many of the same museums will also be offering free entry.

Here's a few in Florence that will be open on June 2 for free:

National Museum of the Bargello
Medici Chapels Museum
Uffizi Gallery
Boboli Gardens
(these five, normally closed on Mondays, will also have special openings on Monday, June 1st, but with paid entrance)

This exceptional work of art - ๐—ฃ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ผ's Renaissance affresco of the "Crucifix, Virgin, St. John and Magdalene along with Saints Bernard and Benedict", from 1493-1496 - is rarely open to the public so take advantage of these dates to go see it this month: Saturday, May 16 and 23 and Monday, May 18, Wednesday and Thursday, May 27 and 28, between 9am and 1pm, entrance is free. Located on via della Colonna 9, access through the Liceo Michelangiolo.

The sun ๐Ÿ˜Ž is shining and the ๐’˜๐’Š๐’”๐’•๐’†๐’“๐’Š๐’‚ ๐Ÿชป is in bloom all over the city, but the ones at Villa Bardini are truly spectacular! You also get to enjoy a gorgeous view of the city. If you're in Florence, take some time to enjoy some of the best gardens in town, including the Iris Garden ๐ŸŒทwhich is to open in less than 2 weeks and the Rose Garden ๐ŸŒนwhich all offer great views over Florence.
