Are you in 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐚 area this week and would like to attend a beautiful choir concert? The Cutty Sark Singers from London will sing on three occasions in Tuscany / Umbria, the concerts entitled 'Un Viaggio Musicale - Concerto di musica rinascimentale e contemporanea'. A Musical Journey - a concert of renaissance and contemporary choral music. The concerts offer beautiful pieces by 16th century renaissance luminaries such as Palestrina, Byrd, Tallis, as well as composers from the 20th and 21st centuries including Elgar, Eric Whitacre and others.
This is the schedule for the three concerts, two in southern Tuscany:
- Tuesday, August 11 at 18:00 hrs ~ Concert in the Duomo in Città della Pieve
- Wednesday, August 12 at 18:00 hrs ~ Concert in the Parish Church of the Santissimo Nome di Gesù, Montepulciano
- Thursday, August 13 at 19:00 hrs ~ Concern in the Duomo in Cortona.

Are you in Italy now? Did you know that this coming up Tuesday is June 2 and to celebrate the "𝑭𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒂 𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒖𝒃𝒃𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒂", many museums across the entire country will offer 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞? Now you do! If Tuesday doesn't work for you, also make note that the following Sunday, June 7, as the first Sunday of the month many of the same museums will also be offering free entry.

Perfect weather for biking in the vineayrd covered hills near Florence! This is just above Sieci, about 40 minutes east outside of Florence, in Chianti Rufina wine region. There are quite a bit of hills, but sometimes a little help from an e-bike can make it quite glorious and let you take on paths you wouldn't consider otherwise. Interested in learning more?

This exceptional place - La Sala del Perugino, with the "Crucifix, Virgin, St. John and Magdalene along with Saints Bernardo and Benedetto", from 1493-1496 - is rarely open to the public so take advantage of these dates to go see it this month: Saturday, May 16 and 23 and Monday, May 18, Wednesday and Thursday, May 27 and 28, between 9am and 1pm, entrance is free. Located on via della Colonna 9, access through the Liceo Michelangiolo.

Did you know that tomorrow, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟱, is a national holiday in Italy? Did you also know many museums are offering 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 on this day, such as the Last Suppers in the photos below? Take advantage of this free entry day as well as the one on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟯𝗿𝗱, the first Sunday of the month to visit your favorite museums.
