Magasa è un piccolo comune montano di 230 abitanti situato nell’entroterra del Garda bresciano e precisamente nella Valle di Vestino. Le sue origini sono antichissime: il toponimo di Magasa deriverebbe dalla parola celtica "Mag" che significa campo. Di origine longobarda i tetti dei fienili con copertura in paglia di frumento, ancor oggi sono visibili nella ricostruzione originaria sull’altipiano di Cima Rest.
