A Sunday at the Villa Reale di Marlia, near Lucca 🇮🇹

We've explored the magnificent garden, that has a magical path dotted with camellia plants 🌺 , a little lake, hundreds of lemon trees, monumentale fountains, a ' green theatre' made of hedges (they were popular in Italian gardens from the 17th century!) 🎭

And our personal favorite spot, a mystical grotto filled with strange figures, dedicated to Pan, the God of the wild 🌿
