Nel 1300 era presente un antico frantoio, là dove sono ubicati adesso gli appartamenti. Una sorgente d’acqua purissima consentiva il movimento delle pesanti macine di pietra e degli ingranaggi utilizzati per la produzione di un delizioso olio prodotto con le olive che maturavano al sole sulle colline circostanti.Il Marchese Amati, proprietario del frantoio e dei terreni, capì che sarebbe stato un

luogo splendido dove abitare e iniziò la trasformazione in unità abitative, fino alla cessazione del suo utilizzo per la produzione di olio d’oliva e la completa trasformazione in unità abitative ad opera degli eredi del Marchese.La ristrutturazione, fatta con amore e rispetto dello stile e delle caratteristiche originarie, ha voluto conservare molti dei tratti caratteristici, tanto che all’interno della struttura si possono ancora ammirare molte delle peculiarità e degli antichi arredi autentici nei 3 appartamenti da 6 posti letto ciascuno, due dei quali dotati di porta comunicante per consentire, se richiesto, di ospitare fino a 12 persone.All’esterno, ben 7000 mq di terreno circondano il Casale, con colture a vite, alberi da frutto, noci e noccioli in grado di offrire una tranquilla riservatezza e rigenerare lo spirito in un ambiente naturale pieno di suggestione.
