Brissac Castle is called “The Giant of the Loire Valley”, the tallest castle in France, with its 7 floors, purchased in 1502 by Réné de Cossé, first lord of Brissac, the castle is now the residence of the thirteenth Duke of the same family.

Brissac Castle was originally a medieval fortress built by the Counts of Anjou in the 11th century. It was rebuilt in the 15th century by Pierre de Brézé, minister of King Charles VII, who bequeathed it to his son Jacques. Married to Charlotte de Valois, daughter of Charles VII, Jacques de Brézé surprised his wife in another man's bed: blinded by anger, he killed the two lovers with his own sword.

Legend has it that Charlotte's ghost still hovers between the rooms of the castle today during thunderstorms .
70 hectares of parkland between forest paths, water basins, flower gardens and the castle's vineyards make this an enchanted place.
Finally, in the castle cellar you can taste its delicious nectar, the excellent Rosé d'Anjou! 🏰🤩

Amboise Castle is one of the most famous residences of the Kings of France during the Renaissance. Of medieval origin, it owes its current appearance to the improvements desired by Charles VIII in 1492 and then by Francis I, who made it his court of residence, bringing here the best European artists and famous people, including Leonardo da Vinci.🏰🤩

Villandry Castle, completed in 1536, was the last of the large castles built on the banks of the Loire during the Renaissance.

It is located in the heart of 6 terraced gardens all with a unique theme and architecture, connected by large stairways, paths and panoramic terraces.

Seen from the top of the Castle, they seem painted by a magic wand! 🏰🤩
