🧑‍🍳🍝 Nonna for a Day

It was a pleasure welcoming Asta and Daniel for a hands-on journey into one of Reggio Emilia’s most beloved traditions: making tortelli verdi, a recipe passed down through generations and one that I learned from my own grandmother.

We started the day with a visit to a traditional Parmigiano Reggiano dairy farm before picking up the fresh ingredients needed for the dough and filling.

From there, we moved to my apartment—once owned by my grandmother herself—where we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. Together we prepared the filling, kneaded and stretched the pasta dough, and shaped our tortelli completely by hand.

More than a cooking class, it was a chance to slow down, share stories, and experience authentic Italian family traditions over a glass of Lambrusco.

✨ Celebrating an anniversary, dolce vita style 🇮🇹

Maddie and Grayson chose to celebrate their special milestone in Italy with a full day discovering the incredible food culture of Emilia-Romagna.

The experience began with a guided visit to a traditional Parmigiano Reggiano dairy farm, followed by a stroll through the vineyards and a tasting at , one of the oldest and most renowned Lambrusco producers in the region.

We wrapped up the day with a farm-to-table lunch at Agriturismo, enjoying iconic gnocco fritto paired with local cured meats and countryside flavors.

🚲🇬🇧 60 hungry and thirsty cyclists from Birmingham in Emilia’s Food Valley!

May marked an exciting new milestone for AndomYA as we welcomed our largest group of travelers so far.

A group of 60 cycling friends from Birmingham stopped in Reggio Emilia to experience the region’s incredible food culture through a full-day journey featuring:

Three generations, one unforgettable day ❤️

Some tours go beyond food — they become memories that last a lifetime.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Kimberly and her family to Modena, for a special day together… including her granddaughter, whose curiosity and joy made the experience even more meaningful.

🧀 Our journey began at , where they discovered the art behind Parmigiano Reggiano — from the early morning production to the final tasting.

🍷 We then moved to to explore the world of Lambrusco — a wine deeply rooted in the local culture and perfect for sharing moments like these.

Inside the winery, the visit to the museum was a real highlight: old-fashioned machinery telling the story of winemaking through the decades, alongside an unexpected twist — vintage Formula 1 models 🏎️
A tribute to the brand’s history as a major sponsor of Ferrari in the ‘70s and ‘80s.

Moments like this — sharing traditions across generations — are what make these experiences truly special.

🌿 Storie di Resistenza, Natura & Sapori – Gombio Experience

Dopo il successo della prima giornata, AndomYA Foodie & Outdoor Club torna con un’esperienza che unisce storia, paesaggio e convivialità.

Questa volta parleremo di Resistenza, ma lo faremo camminando attraverso la natura dell’Appennino e condividendo sapori autentici del territorio.

📍 A Gombio incontreremo Dino, memoria storica del paese, che ci racconterà un episodio della Resistenza del ’43 legato alle donne del borgo, diventate vere e proprie eroine.

Da qui partiremo per una camminata immersi nella natura, fino a raggiungere un agriturismo dove scopriremo la filosofia del km 0… e ci siederemo a tavola insieme.

2026 season kick-off 🚀

Last Saturday we hosted our first tour of the season, welcoming a lovely family traveling from Argentina 🇦🇷

It felt wonderful to be back on track, introducing travelers to the incredible culinary heritage of our region and showing how high-quality products such as Parmigiano Reggiano, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar, and artisanal cured meats are made.

In the afternoon we explored the historic center of Reggio Emilia — a city often overlooked, yet rich in authentic local experiences and unique history as the birthplace of the Italian tricolour flag.
