🍝✨ A pinch of tradition, a glass of Lambrusco, and plenty of smiles.
It was a true pleasure welcoming Tova and her lovely family from Stockholm for a hands-on cooking experience inspired by their passion for Italian cuisine and classic films such as La Dolce Vita by Fellini.
Together, we prepared one of Reggio Emilia’s most treasured recipes: tortelli verdi reggiani. From kneading the dough to rolling it by hand and filling each tortello with the traditional mixture of greens, Parmigiano Reggiano, and ricotta, every step became an opportunity to share stories, family traditions, and plenty of laughter.
For a few hours, my kitchen—once my grandmother’s—became their Italian home, where recipes were passed down, glasses of Lambrusco were raised, and unforgettable memories were made around the table.
Because the true dolce vita isn’t found in a movie—it’s experienced through simple moments, authentic food, and wonderful people.
