Our apartment looks right over the Alessandrino Aqueduct, one of Rome’s hidden treasures. Built in the 2nd century AD during Emperor Alexander Severus’ reign, it once carried fresh water over 22 km into the heart of ancient Rome.

Today, you can still see its arches stretching across the landscape – a reminder of Rome’s incredible engineering and history – and enjoy it from the comfort of our windows.
