✨ The Pantheon lights up with magic ✨

Every year around September 4th, shortly before 1:00 PM, sunlight streams through the Pantheon's oculus and perfectly illuminates the arch above the monumental entrance. For just a few minutes, the stone transforms into a golden portal: this is the evocative Arch of Light. ☀️

A phenomenon born from the incredible precision of Roman architects, who nearly 2,000 years ago were able to combine geometry, astronomy, and spirituality. The alignment can also be observed in the days immediately following and recurs in early April.
