Pandemic life.
I guess that’s just kind of a hash tag phrase at this point. It’ll be an endless wait to “get back to normal”.

Of course, I’ve been loving the solitude on the beaches of Guanacaste as a positive scenario coming out of an otherwise terrible situation.
Another downside is the amount of garbage, especially fishing-related, accumulating along the high tide line. In normal times there is some trash here and there, but without the engine of tourism at its normal level, motivating local businesses to keep the beaches clean, the problem is real. I’ve been researching groups that do beach clean-ups in the area, but they seem inactive lately. Anyone know of active beach clean-ups in Guanacaste and the Nicoya Peninsula?
