A special opportunity to visit the site and relive the enchanting atmosphere of a bygone era is the 28th edition of the "Medieval Days", taking place on October 23, 24, and 25, 2026โone of Southern Italy's largest and most evocative historical reenactments. Launched in 1999, the event commemorates Guidone de Foresta, who was appointed lord of the area by Charles I of Anjou in 1268. The village sheds its modern guise to offer a journey back in time, featuring historical encampments, traditional crafts, wandering musicians, duels, falconry displays, acrobats, jesters, and street performers.
