🌞In the heart of the Crete Senesi is the Sito Transitorio, a work by French artist Jean-Paul Philippe. A “window” onto the Crete halfway between Siena and Asciano.
The large stone monument was designed so that the setting sun on June 21st aligns perfectly with the opening, creating a suggestive visual experience.
What better place to visit on the occasion of the summer solstice?

🤩The magic of the 1000 Miglia will once again stop in Siena, to the delight of Sienese citizens, tourists and enthusiasts.
📅On Wednesday 18 June, starting at 11:00, Piazza del Campo will welcome over four hundred historic cars from the “unique travelling museum in the world”, as Enzo Ferrari called it.
📌The city has hosted this legendary race since the first editions in the 1930s.
🇮🇹La magia della 1000 Miglia farà di nuovo tappa a Siena, per la gioia di cittadini senesi, turisti e appassionati.
Mercoledì 18 giugno, a partire dalle 11:00, Piazza del Campo accoglierà le oltre quattrocento auto storiche del “Museo viaggiante unico al mondo”, come lo definì Enzo Ferrari.
La città ha ospitato questa leggendaria corsa fin dalle prime edizioni degli anni Trenta del secolo scorso.

🛶Summer is upon us and the days are getting hotter, how about cooling off with a dip in the clear waters of the Elsa River?
A day of trekking along one of the most famous river routes in the area: the SentierElsa. It is a river corridor between the Sienese Chianti and San Gimignano rich in vegetation.
At the end of the walk it will be possible to explore this spectacular waterway even more closely, thanks to the rafting dinghy. At the end of the experience we will relax with a picnic along the banks of the Elsa River.
🇮🇹L’estate è alle porte e le giornate si fanno sempre più calde, che ne dite di rinfrescarvi con un tuffo nelle limpide acque del fiume Elsa?
Una giornata di trekking lungo uno dei percorsi fluviali più conosciuti della zona: il SentierElsa. Si tratta di un corridoio fluviale tra il Chianti senese e San Gimignano ricco di vegetazione.
Al termine della passeggiata sarà possibile esplorare questo spettacolare corso d’acqua ancora più da vicino, grazie al gommone da rafting. Al termine dell’esperienza ci rilasseremo con un picnic lungo le rive del fiume Elsa.
