We just had the most fantastic, vibrant group join us for our colourful progressive lunch, Taste of Sorrento. There's nothing better than starting the morning by pulling up a chair, breaking bread, and sharing hours of deep laughter. 🍷☀️

We kicked off our day with the simple perfection of Campania: fragrant, sun-sweet tomatoes plucked straight from the vines of Mt. Vesuvius, perfectly paired with a crisp, chilled glass of Falanghina wine. 🍅🥂

Winding our way through four local stops, where we were welcomed with open arms and warm smiles by authentic Sorrentine families. Eating with them isn't just a meal—it’s an invitation into their homes and traditions.

🍷✨ GOOD FOOD AND WINE HAVE NO BORDERS! ✨🇮🇹

We had such a wonderful evening introducing the authentic flavours of Sorrento to a fantastic group of guests joining us from Scotland and the USA! 🌍✈️

There is nothing quite like watching people from different corners of the world connect over the real, local side of Italy. And when we say we don't hold back, we mean it. Just look at what we served at our FIRST STOP ALONE:

🥂 A chilled, crisp white Falanghina paired perfectly with pizza di spaghetti and crispy, gooey mozzarella in carrozza.
🌹 A dry, palate-cleansing Rosé paired with delicious potatoes, fennel-fragrant sausage, and chili-sprinkled Italian broccoli.
🍷 A hearty, rich red wine paired with Mamma’s authentic meatballs and traditional parmigiana di melanzane...

From the very start, the laughter just didn’t stop. It was one of those rare evenings where everyone clicked instantly, like we had known each other for years. The group got on like a house on fire, and by the end of the night there were new friendships, phone numbers swapped, and plans already being made to meet again.

Every glass of wine poured, every limoncello raised in cheers, every beautiful dish served has a story behind it, and with us - always a local family behind it too.

Many of the recipes you taste have been lovingly passed down through generations, long before anyone ever thought to call it “food tourism.”

These are the families we laugh with, cook with, argue football with, hug goodbye at the end of the night, and return to year after year.
