Day two was what we call the Sicilitude touch.

Private site inspections at our partner hotels, a boat tour straight from Minareto to Area M, and a terrace in Ortigia at Grand Hotel Des Étrangers Siracusa that you don't forget easily.
This is what we build for travel professionals who want to bring their clients somewhere real. Not a checklist. An experience worth talking about when you get home.
Thank you Kayla for trusting us with your time and your curiosity.
We can't wait to welcome your clients.

Some trips are about seeing a place. Others are about understanding it.

When traveling home mom came to Sicily, we wanted to show her the second kind.

Kayla is a travel advisor with a deep connection to the American-Italian experience. So we built something around that — an itinerary focused on one of the most powerful chapters Sicily and the United States share: the Allied Landings of WWII.

Day one was Catania. The Museum of the Landings, the Commonwealth War Cemetery. The kind of places that stop you mid-sentence and make you think about everything that happened here.

Between one visit and the next, we stopped by Piazza Scammacca to give Kayla a taste of the very best of Catania’s traditional cuisine, because Sicily without food simply wouldn’t be Sicily.

On day two we showed her what we call the Sicilitude touch. But that's a story for next time.

We updated our logo.
We want to tell you why.

When we started Sicilitude we knew what we wanted to do, help people with Sicilian roots find their way back.

What we didn’t expect was how deep that journey could go.

We’re not a tour operator. We work with identity, memory and family stories that got lost somewhere between one generation and the next.

👉🏻 A surname in a church record.
👉🏻 A village on a map.
👉🏻 A cousin they didn’t know existed.

That’s not a trip, that’s a return.

The old logo was beautiful and unmistakably Sicilian, but it stopped telling the whole story.

We needed something that spoke less about the island as a postcard and more about what we actually do.

The prickly pear is still there.

Same plant, same roots. Just seen differently, because that’s exactly what we’ve learned to do.

Discover your roots.

Looking back at this past summer fills us with so much warmth. Thanks to the Belìce a 1 euro initiative, our guests were able to explore this beautiful place, immerse themselves in its stories, and enjoy experiences that felt truly special.

One of our favorite memories was watching them discover the ancient art of Sciacca coral — a tradition passed down through generations, where goldsmithing and craftsmanship come together to transform fragments of the sea into something precious.

These are the kinds of moments that stay with us, reminding us of the beauty of connection, culture, and the stories that shape our territory.

A big thank you to and for making this experience happen. ✨

We were thrilled to take part in the 2025 edition of Roots In, the event that brought together roots tourism professionals in the stunning setting of Matera.

As sellers in the B2B workshop, we presented our 2026 heritage tour itineraries to international buyers, sharing our vision for meaningful ancestral travel in Sicily.

Roots In was also a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with our partners and , strengthening our network for the future of roots tourism. ✨

This October we welcomed a wonderful group from Uruguay to Sicily 🇺🇾

Together we cooked arancini, crafted ceramics, harvested olives, and celebrated the Festa Patronale di San Michele. We also explored the beauty of Taormina and hiked the mighty Mount Etna!

The connecting thread through it all was the reconnection with their Italian roots — a journey of heritage, identity, and heart. 🇮🇹

A week filled with tradition, connection, and unforgettable memories.

Thank you .uy for making it possible. ✨

Together with CNA Turismo Catania, we had the pleasure of promoting the incredible artistry of Sicilian craftsmen, weaving their stories and traditions into our experiential travel proposals — because the real Sicily lives in its people, their hands, and their heritage. 🇮🇹✨

After the inspiring days at TTG Travel Experience 2025 in Rimini, we joined the CNA Turismo delegation for a special post-tour, welcoming five international tour operators to explore some of the island’s most authentic corners — from Bronte to Maletto, Acireale, and Catania — discovering the essence of Sicily through its hidden gems:

🍃 Boutique hospitality at La Fucina di Vulcano, nestled between Bronte and Maletto with breathtaking views of Mount Etna
🥜 An unforgettable Pistachio Experience in Bronte, celebrating the world’s green gold
🍷 A visit to the historic Cantine Patria winery in Randazzo, where Etna’s volcanic soil meets winemaking passion
🏡 A stop at Dimora Cottanera, a luxury retreat surrounded by lush vineyards and timeless silence
🛠 A deep dive into rural heritage at Maletto’s Anthropological Museum, guided by the passionate president of the local Pro Loco
🍓 And finally, a sweet ending with a hands-on workshop dedicated to Fragoletto, Maletto’s beloved wild strawberry liqueur — a true expression of local excellence

Each stop reminded us that Sicily is not just a destination — it’s a living story made of craftsmanship, flavors, and heartfelt connections.

Back from TTG Travel Experience 2025 in Rimini — Italy’s leading tourism fair — where we proudly represented Sicilitude as exhibitors in the Sicily Region Pavilion! 🇮🇹✨

It’s been an incredible experience filled with inspiration, connections, and opportunities to showcase the essence of our island. We had the chance to meet with international travel agencies, tour operators, and tourism professionals from all over the world, sharing our vision of authentic, meaningful travel through Sicily.

A heartfelt grazie to everyone who visited our stand and shared their enthusiasm for Sicily! We return home even more inspired to keep promoting the island’s beauty, history, and soul across the world.

Rame di Napoli are not just cookies — they are little treasures filled with memory, culture, and sweetness.

Born from the heart of Sicilian tradition, these soft, spiced biscuits covered in rich chocolate glaze are deeply tied to the celebrations of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days. In Sicily, these days are not only moments of remembrance, but also of affection and connection between generations.

Every bite tells a story — a story of love, memory, and the flavors that unite an island through time. Even today, Sicilian bakeries keep this sweet ritual alive, passing down recipes and values that continue to warm hearts far beyond the island’s shores.

Because Rame di Napoli aren’t just cookies — they are a taste of Sicily’s soul.
