📜 Torino Manifesto – A New Global Agenda for Accessible Tourism
Adopted at the 3rd World Summit on Accessible Tourism, the Torino Manifesto defines the shared vision and commitments that will guide the future of accessible and inclusive travel worldwide.

🌍 Born in Torino, inspired by voices from over 30 countries, it’s a call to action for governments, destinations, and communities to make tourism truly for everyone.

We officially opened the Summit with the Opening Ceremony in Sala 500, featuring inspiring speeches from:

𝗠𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗼 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 (Co-President of the Summit, CPD president), 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 (Co-President of the Summit, Kéroul, Canada), 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶 (Minister for Disabilities), 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲̀ (Minister of Tourism), 𝗭𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗮 𝗨𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰 (Executive Director of UN Tourism), 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗼 (President of Regione Piemonte), 𝗣𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶 (Councillor for Tourism, Regione Piemonte), and 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗼 (Deputy Mayor of Torino).

We opened with free accessible walking tours, welcoming participants from around the world to discover the city’s inclusive spirit.

The official Opening Ceremony at Lingotto Congress Centre marked the ribbon-cutting moment of this global event — with representatives from institutions, associations, and private organizations joining together to celebrate a shared commitment to accessibility and inclusion.
