Jahvon and I were invited to see the Boscobel reef nursery. It was amazing. About a 10 minute boat ride from Sapphire Reef villa to nursery. They had 10 nursery trees, at various stages. The white tips on coral are beaching, caused by climate change. Bleaching is killing the reefs. The pictures of their coral garden, the coral was planted from nursery so some hope on saving the reef. Staghorn coral was very popular in this region 50 years ago, so they hope to transplant to this reef. They are looking at the area in front of the villa !! For the diving/snorkeling enthusiast they are looking at setting up visits for guests. They also have a diving shop in Oracabessa to rent diving gear. If interested message me.
