If you've been to Sparkling Waters, you'll know this set of stairs to the beach. This summer I had the distinct pleasure of introducing a whole new set of friends, family members and colleagues to these stairs and to Treasure Beach, The Helping Hands Dental Clinic, and the joy of humble service in Jamaica. Thanks to a great team of staff and students from the University of Toronto, and the University of the West Indies we treated around 450 patients in four days this August. It was a pleasure sweating, working, and laughing together. As a reward, we got to come home to this. And as Donald Miller says, "There is something beautiful about a billion stars, held steady by a God who knows what He is doing."
