Happy Birthday Hon. Pearnel Charles Jr
Today I celebrate my birthday and I reflect with gratitude on the enormous blessings I have received throughout my lifetime. 8 years ago on this day, my grandmother, Merita Charles, passed away. I am still reminded by her that there is no challenge too great for the prayers and support of my family and friends. I am reminded by her that I must be conscious of the limited time we are given to make our contribution and so I seldom waste it. I am reminded by her to prepare and be ready to receive blessings in abundance and to give without anticipation of receiving.
Most importantly, I am reminded by her that every blessing comes with a share of responsibility. The more you get the more you must give back.
She would always say “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”
