Cunard 'Queen Mary 2'
Trip to London, UK for 3 days returning back to NYC via the Queen Mary 2,
7 days trans Atlantic crossing.
In 1956 my parents arrived in Halifax via ocean liner from Greece.
In 1966, when I was 9 years old, I travelled to Greece on an ocean liner.
I remember loving every minute of it!
I sailed on two ships the SS Olympia and SS Queen Fredericka
Purpose of the trip was a 10 month stay on the beautiful island of Samos, Greece where I attended Grade 4, living with my grandparents and learning to speak Greek and gaining an appreciation of my roots.
Crossing the Atlantic gave me memories that have forever remained in mind and now 50 years later, find the opportunity to do it one more time in style aboard the Queen Mary 2.
In short, an amazing trip!
