Lindsay, (co-owner with her husband Ed) tells us what she loves about Avita Villa and Treasure Beach.

I love the welcoming and warm people here and the peacefulness of the countryside.

This is a photo of us in Billy’s Bay, outside the local church delivering supplies to the community through our non-profit organisation, Sent.

Sent is a Christian organization that provides food, shelter, medical care and the tools to learn more about Jesus. I’m really proud to be the Jamaica coordinator.

My favourite spots in Avita Villa are the beach and the balconies.

My favourite dish by our private chef? I love their desserts!

And I also love their pumpkin soup and sharing it around the table with our family and the locals who come to visit us.

Meet the owners, Ed and Lindsay. They bought Avita Villa several years ago after falling in love with Treasure Beach.

Here’s what Ed has to say about the villa and the community where it is located…

When we first came to Treasure Beach, we felt so in touch with the community. They sweep you up and are so welcoming.

In this picture, the gentleman is gifting me a box of star fruit as a thank you for helping him after the hurricane.

My favourite thing to do is play football on the beach with the local kids.

We donated football boots to the local secondary school.

My favourite spot at Avita Villa is in the rocking chairs under the palapa next to the pool. I love that view.

My favourite meal is Miss Laura and Jenny’s brown stew beef. Delicious!

We hope that when guests stay here, they feel the love that we feel every time we come. Aman, Laura, Jenny and Mooney spoil you and make you feel at home.

We speak to Amber, a young and hard working member of the SENT team who shares what they’re doing in Jamaica and how they are serving this wonderful community.
