I am happy to introduce a new series of videos on the channel called “Ambience by Alpha”.

They focus on one thing…ambience. This new series is an addition to the travel videos series on the channel, which shall continue as there are LOTS of places which I am planning on visiting and filming once the Pandemic is behind us.

The ‘‘Ambiance by Alpha’ series is best suited to be used as an aid for relaxation, stress relief, meditation, study, sleep or to convey a certain atmosphere that you desire.

Entertaining clients or guests at work or your place of business? Play these videos in the background on a screen (a BIG one in the main lobby 😁) to put them at ease or any other mood that you think that these videos might help in achieving. Want to chill at home or play a video in the background during a Skype or Zoom video call? This video series might just do the trick.

The first video of this series is called 'Sea Cave'. It features 90 minutes of uninterrupted/non-looped visuals and sounds of a natural sea cave on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The cave is home to several bird species. Specifically, this is the 'Blue Cave', found in Dor HaBonim Beach Nature Reserve, on Israel's most scenic coastal stretch.

I hope that you enjoy this new video series addition to the channel, as much as I enjoy making them.

Dawn, overlooking the Dead Sea, Israel.

At 430.5 meters (1,412 feet) below sea level, it is Earth's lowest elevation on land. It is also one of the saltiest bodies of water, 9.6 times as salty as the oceans.

Apparently, the region's climate, low elevation and mineral content of the sea / mud, have multiple health benefits, making the Dead Sea a popular tourist destination.

Both Israel 🇮🇱 and Jordan 🇯🇴 have hotels / resorts on the shores of the Dead Sea.

From Wikipedia:
“The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is a church in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem.

The church contains, according to traditions dating back to at least the 4th century, the two holiest sites in Christianity: the site where Jesus was crucified, at a place known as Cavalry or Golgotha, and Jesus's empty tomb, where he was buried and resurrected. The tomb is enclosed by a 19th-century shrine called the Aedicula.

The church has been a major Christian pilgrimage destination since its creation in the 4th century, as the traditional site of the resurrection of Christ, thus its original Greek name, Church of the Anastasis ('Resurrection').”

Regardless of a person's religious beliefs, visiting the church is a special experience, just by thinking about the history behind the place. For Christians, visiting around / on Christmas, the experience is unforgettable.

The 'Via Dolorosa', or "sorrowful way" in Latin, is a path in the old city of Jerusalem. It is believed to be the path that Jesus walked on the way to his crucifixion.

The winding route, 600 meters long, is very popular with Christian pilgrims. Many re-enact the crucifixion procession.

There are a total of 9 stations of the cross along the path. The objective of the stations is to help the Christian faithful to make a spiritual pilgrimage through contemplation of the Passion of Christ.

The current route has been established since the 18th century, replacing various earlier versions.

Corner of Place Jacques-Cartier and Rue Saint Paul in the 'Old Montréal' neighborhood.

The area dates back to the 17th century. Many structures of that era still exist. There are many bars, restaurants, clubs, art galleries, and other unique and trendy businesses. It is very popular with out of town visitors.

Old Montréal is my favorite neighborhood in the city, probably in all of Canada. Walking around feels like being in Europe and not in North America. There are a lot of great places to eat, shop, party and just to chill and enjoy the local atmosphere. I never get tired of this area and always find something new and interesting.

The Biosphere, built for the 1967 Montreal Expo, is a geodesic dome housing a museum for the environment. It is a staple of the Montreal skyline.

The Western Wall / Wailing Wall / Kotel in the old city of Jerusalem.

The Western Wall's holiness in Judaism is a result of its proximity to the Temple Mount. Because of the Temple Mount entry restrictions, the Wall is the holiest place where Jews are permitted to pray, though the Foundation Stone, the most sacred site in the Jewish faith, lies behind it, inside the 'Dome of the Rock'.
Just over half the wall's total height, including its 17 courses located below street level, dates from the end of the Jewish Second Temple period, and is commonly believed to have been built by Herod the Great starting in 19 BCE, although recent excavations indicate that the work was not finished by the time Herod died in 4 BCE.
The very large stone blocks of the lower courses are Herodian, the courses of medium-sized stones above them were added during the Umayyad period (661-750 CE) while the small stones of the uppermost courses are of more recent date, especially from the Ottoman period.

This is one of the most iconic sites to visit in the world. I highly recommend it!
