Team Jordan Underwaterphotography participating on 6th world Championship CAMS in Saranda, Albania 2024
After a challenging journey filled with logistical hurdles and flight cancellations, I finally arrived at the event in Albania just in time. Unfortunately, the difficult travel conditions prevented my teammate from joining me, so I represented "Team Jordan" all on my own.
Everything was new to me—the Adriatic Sea, the many esteemed underwater photographers equipped with top-notch gear. While they all appeared in teams, I fought alone for my homeland.
The weather was poor at first, and my photos didn’t turn out as I had hoped. However, by the second day, things improved slightly. The participants were very kind and respectful, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
After carefully evaluating my shots after the secound day, I submitted my best photos, fully aware that many of the competitors were light-years ahead of me in terms of technique and experience.
I was overjoyed to learn that I placed fifth in the "Wide Angle" category. I couldn't be happier and prouder of this result.
It was a great honor to participate and compete in this international underwater photography competition. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my diving colleagues and the event organizers for their incredible support and sharing of knowledge. I found many new likeminded friends.
Last night, after a 24hour way, I returned home filled with pride, joy, and happiness and I sincerely thank everyone for their support and encouragement.
