Fushimi jikkokubune

Fushimi is on the south of Kyoto City, a famous area for sake breweries. It used to be a port to carry sake, rice, people to Osaka between two rivers.

Now the boats in those days were replicated for sightseeing. You can enjoy views on board every season.

Daigo-ji is a famous Buddhist temple in Kyoto and was founded in 874.

Daigo-ji is famous for its beautiful cherry blossoms which has about 700 trees in that location. That view must make you breathtaking!

Famous samurai leader Hideyoshi Toyotomi used to love these amazing flowers and had a big party to view them with his family and vassals.

The way Japanese people feel about the cherry blossoms has been always the same.

Fireworks festivals are a seasonal feature of summer in Japan. They are held every year all over the country.
People enjoy watching the fireworks and wandering around the outdoor stalls. The stalls sell a variety of unique foods, which is another highlight of the festival.

Sunflowers are in full bloom. This yellow color gives us a lot of energy. I can imagine why Van Gogh was attracted to sunflowers. The collaboration between the bright sunlight and the sunflowers was energetic during the day, but the sunflower field in the evening changes to a mysterious atmosphere.

Nara is an old city with many historical shrines and temples as well as Kyoto. I think Nara is much quieter than Kyoto though.
Deer are sacred animals in Nara. They usually walk on the streets and relax in the park. You can enjoy watching and petting them very closely. Also you can feed them crackers if you buy them at the shops on the streets. They might run toward you to get your crackers or any food you have so be careful!
