The Japanese countryside through my lenses.
More precisely, fishermen and oyster workers on the island I live on and mostly stills of the PR video I’m working on. 😗
1&2. Noguchi-san. He was working on oysters and he accidentally caught a flounder fish and felt ashamed because of how small it was. He then gave to me and my friends and we had it for dinner. It was delicious.
3. Sakae-san, another fisherman I often work with. He took us on his boat to show us how he picks oysters. He always cooperates, even in sickness and I am forever grateful for that.
4. Sakae-san and hundreds of oysters.
5. The view from Sakae-san’s boat.
6. A worker at the oyster factory right next to where I live. Oysters can be sold with or without their shells. When sold with their shells, people like him clean them up. I asked him if I could film him for my PR video and he accepted, surprised. He was shy but seemed so happy.
6. Fisherman’s boat in Hinase port.
7&8. View of the Hinase♡Giant Bridge 🌁
9. View of the Hinase♡Giant Bridge from Minatonomieruoka Park
10. Hinase port
11. View from the Kashira island shrine
