I recently hiked Mt. Yosomi, one of my favorite mountains!
It may be a small mountain, but it’s full of life with an amazing variety of herbaceous and woody plants. There’s so much biodiversity here.
What makes it even more special is that it’s part of the active Mt. Usu, a volcano. Even in winter, you can still feel the warmth of the volcano beneath your feet! It’s such a unique experience.
