「呉海自カレーフェスタ2017」の情報は「ひろしま観光ナビ」で。呉海自カレー参加店舗３０店が一堂に集まります。海上自衛隊では多くの部隊で毎週金曜日の昼食にカレーが食べられています。その理由は諸説ありますが、長く航海している隊員が曜日感覚を忘れないようにするためだとか…。そのカレーは、隊員の健康を第一に考える調理員のこだわりがたくさん詰まった美味しいカレーです。呉海自カレー参加店舗は海上自衛隊の調理員から直接作り方を教わって味を忠実に再現、さらに艦長から「これはうちのカレーだ！」と認定していただいた特別なカレーです。
