The Japanese language was made for introverts and I'm proving it by teaching you some of the words that Japanese people often use.
It's common knowledge that Japanese people are often perceived as shy or reserved, but what you didn't know is that it's ingrained in their language and culture. They even have words to describe introverted habits and situations, and we don't have a direct translation for this in English.
If you're an anime fan, you've probably heard of the term hikikomori - or shut in. And people evading society and becoming recluses is common enough that they have this specific term. That's just one of the many examples of introverted terminology that has become commonplace in Japanese language.
Have you heard of any of the terms in the video? And do you think we should start introducing verbiage like this into the English language?
