Most visitors know Fushimi Inari for its vermilion gates. But the real reward for arriving before dawn isn’t just an empty torii path (Slide 1)—it’s what lies hidden on the back trails.
Far from the crowds sits a secluded bamboo grove (Slide 3) that easily rivals Arashiyama, with absolutely zero tourists. Just the wind through the stalks and the quiet of the ancient sub-shrines (Slide 2).

伏見稲荷大社といえば千本鳥居ですが、早朝に訪れる本当の理由は、誰もいない鳥居（1枚目）を歩くためだけではありません。
