DAISHO Hands-Free Kyotoです。
明日5/15（金）に行われる、京都三大祭りのひとつ「葵祭り」。
平安時代の雅な衣装をまとった行列が、京都御所を出発し、下鴨神社を経て上賀茂神社まで練り歩く、京都を代表する伝統行事です。🍃

双葉葵は、下鴨神社・上賀茂神社の神紋であり、葵祭の主役となる神聖な植物。
「神と人との縁を結ぶ象徴」として、人々が身に着けて祭りに参加します。

Tomorrow, May 15 (Fri), Kyoto will celebrate Aoi Matsuri, one of the city’s three great festivals.
The elegant procession, dressed in beautiful Heian-period costumes, departs from the Kyoto Imperial Palace and travels through Shimogamo Shrine to Kamigamo Shrine. 🇯🇵

Futaba Aoi is the sacred plant and crest of both Shimogamo and Kamigamo Shrines, and serves as the symbol of the festival.
It is worn as a sign of the spiritual connection between gods and people.
