Samurai History & Culture Japan This page was created for enjoyment and educational purposes. From 1994 he was apprenticed to one of Japan's last true armor craftsmen, Atsuta Shindo.

Our aim is to increase communication channels between people interested in the samurai, and spread information and knowledge regarding samurai history and culture. This page was created by and is written by Australian born Chris Glenn, a 30 year veteran of Japan, and member of the Japan Armor and Weapons Research and Preservation Society, The Japan Castle Research Federation, and the Nagoya Shinse

ngumi Douko Kai. He is an advisor to the Nagoya Honmaru Goten Castle Restoration tea, also to the Kato Kiyomasa Kai, the Aichi Guide Network. He is the author of the books The Battle of Sekigahara,(Booklocker) and two other Japanese language books on castles, and the book, Samurai Castle Bilingual Guide (Shogakukan) written in collaboration with Professor Miura of Hiroshima University. He is the Culture and Tourism Ambassador for Sekigahara, and the Culture, History Ambassador for Nagoya City. Chris Glenn is managed by media company PPF (Past Present Future Ltd.)
