One day tour in Nagoya by car. I showed my customer some of "the beaten path" locations. I ordered good weather (after all I'm a fixer at heart) and the weather gods delivered😀 I had a great day with an awesome client, thank you so much!

Whooohooo finished a 16 day tour with 19 lovely laid back Aussies. From Kyushu all the way down to Tokyo, hot springs were entered, monkeys were seen, beer was drunk and distances were walked.

Finished a great 5 day tour with 4 charming ladies. The weather wasn't always cooperative, but that didn't stop us from visiting lovely places and having a great time. Thank you for having us as your guides/friends.

We just wrapped up an incredible production for Milano University! Over ten days, we braved the cold, but the warmth of our interviewees (hibakusha), the wonderful people who supported us in Hiroshima (film commission) and Kure City (star observatory), and the amazing atmosphere within our crew made it all worthwhile. What a fantastic experience!

Kure Kamagari Observatory, wow what a beautiful place, unreal. My vehicle must have the only "Nagoya number" in a 300 kilometer radius.

During my tours I often walk40000 steps or more so a good pair of shoes are essential. But I won't be caught dead in a pair of trekking shoes! So decided on these "grounds" my Mikio Sakabe sneakers, extremely comfy, they raise my height by 2 centimeters (the view is awesome at 1.79m!) and I'd be so easy to find if I ever end up upside down in a snow avalanche.

The peak season at Korankei might seem to have passed, with fewer crowds, no artificial lighting at night, and easier parking. But guess what? Wrong! This week and next week are actually the peak season! Now’s the perfect time to visit!

This week we have been busy with tours to korankei valley, lots of amazing customers who could witness the beauty of country-side Japan, without being surrounded by zillions of people.
The lit up version which is only during peak season is however visited by thousands of folks, but then you can catch the spirit of the Japanese, people laughing, eating a banana on a stick, couples walking arm in arm enjoying the beauty and the warm atmosphere created by people who take a day out of their busy lives to just forget about their daily worries.

Touring with a lovely traveller from Seattle. Her wish was to visit the pottery and ceramic Mecca of Japan, Seto city and Tajimi city. We took her to some amazing places, and she had a face to face with pottery master Mizuno Norio. We had lunch at a great little restaurant in the forest, after which we went to Mino ceramic park where the World Championship of ceramics was held, showcasing some breathtaking art. Great day and even better cliënt...thanks for putting your faith in us❤️
Trying to create a great production on a budget in Japan is not the easiest of tasks, steep wages and a high cost of living will cut in your expenses like nowhere else.
Still Japan, an unique place with its rich varied culture is the place to be for film makers, journalists and television crews, whatever you have anywhere in the world, you can be sure that you’ll find another perspective here in Japan.
You can’t go around by yourself however, the Japanese are famously bad at English and the social rules really differ from the ones back home. You’ll meet barriers, may they be socially, law related or professionally. This is where I step in, with my knowledge of the Japanese language, its customs, the people and the my knowledge of your needs, and all you have to concentrate on is....your production.
I make sure that everything will stay within the desired budget, I do most of the work myself (before and during the production) and I have extra help(interpreter, driver etc) on speed dial, and they work for a fraction of the cost big companies charge,
Let me do the heavy lifting, all I ask in return is a challenge..
