Top 3 Hydrangea Spots in Tokyo - Peak June blooms are almost here!
Every June, hydrangeas burst into bloom just as rainy season begins in Tokyo. Whether you want to snap quick pics of hydrangeas amid Tokyo's unique cityscapes, or take in their beauty surrounded by the serenity of nature, these 3 spots are a must.

① Minamisawa Hydrangea Mountain
Deep amid the silence of a forest, over 15,000 hydrangeas bloom, overflowing into the paths and slopes. Blue and purple blossoms weave the scenery into an enchanting tapestry.

🚃Musashi-Itsukaichi Sta. → app. 10 min. by limited-time shuttle bus / Musashi-Itsukaichi Sta. → app. 40 min. on foot

② Koiwa Iris Garden
Over 2,000 hydrangeas in full bloom rival the beauty of 50,000 irises blanketing the grounds. The nearby Keisei Line railway bridge makes the perfect setting to catch hydrangeas against a locomotive backdrop.

🚃 Edogawa Sta. (Keisei Main Line) → 5- min. walk

③ Kyu-Nakagawa Riverbank
Though famous for Kawazu cherry blossoms in spring, hydrangeas take center stage in early summer along the Kyu-Nakagawa River. Take in the view of blossoms along the river as trains cross the railway bridge and Tokyo Skytree stands tall in the distance.

More than just hot! This ramen shop is worth the wait 🍜
Get in line for the popular ramen shop “Kikanbo,” with two locations in Ikebukuro and Kanda. Wrapped in the fiery kick of chili peppers and sansho pepper is the rich depth of miso, a flavor that makes it a must-try for both spicy food lovers and ramen fans. The best part? You can customize the level of spiciness as well as the tingling sensation of sansho called “shibire”! The demon-themed interior and BGM crank up the excitement even more. Definitely worth the wait!
