✈️ Self-Check-in Kiosks: Paano Gamitin
Maraming OFWs at seafarers ang nalilito pa rin sa paggamit ng self-check-in kiosks sa airport. Pero kung alam mo ang proseso, makakatipid ka ng oras at iwas pila.
1. Hanapin ang kiosk ng airline mo
• Karaniwang nasa departure area, malapit sa check-in counters.
• May malaking logo ng airline (PAL, Cebu Pacific, Qatar Airways, Emirates, atbp.).
2. Ihanda ang ticket details
Pwede kang mag-check-in gamit ang:
• Booking reference number / confirmation code
• Passport (scan)
• Frequent flyer card (kung meron)
• QR code mula sa e-ticket
3. Simulan ang proseso sa screen
• Piliin ang language (karaniwan English).
• I-tap ang “Check-in” o “Start.”
• Ilagay ang booking code o i-scan ang passport.
4. I-confirm ang flight details
• Check ang pangalan, flight number, at destination.
• Kung may connecting flight, siguraduhing tama ang lahat.
5. Pumili ng upuan (kung available)
• May option para pumili ng seat (minsan may dagdag bayad).
• Piliin kung aisle, window, o extra legroom seat.
6. I-print ang boarding pass
• Lalabas agad sa kiosk ang boarding pass.
• Kailangan ito para makapasok sa immigration at boarding gate.
7. Kung may check-in baggage
• Lumapit sa Baggage Drop Counter para i-deposit ang maleta.
• Ipakita ang boarding pass na galing sa kiosk.
8. Kung hand-carry lang ang dala
• Diretso ka na sa security check at immigration.
• Hindi na kailangang pumila sa regular check-in counter.
✅ Tips para sa OFWs
• Dumating nang maaga para hindi magmadali.
• Siguraduhing updated ang booking details (lalo na kung agency ang nag-book).
• Kung nahihirapan, may airport staff na naka-assign para tumulong sa kiosks.

HEADS UP, TRAVELERS! ✈️

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced on Tuesday the cancellation of flights, due to unfavorable weather conditions brought by Super Typhoon .

As of 1 AM on Tuesday, Philippine Airlines cancelled four international flights: PR 306/307 (Manila–Hong Kong–Manila) and PR 330/331 (Manila–Xiamen–Manila), along with two domestic flights.

For Wednesday, PAL announced the cancellation of three more international flights on the Manila–Hong Kong–Manila route: PR 300/301, PR 306/307 and PR 310/311. | via Rudy Santos

1. Free Rebooking

Rebook without fare difference for travel up to thirty (30) days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date.

2. Travel Fund

Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)

3. Refund

Full refund of your ticket.

Passengers are advised that further delays and cancellations may occur in the coming days depending on the weather conditions. We are working closely with airport authorities and operational teams to mitigate the impact as much as possible.

CEB is also offering flexible options to passengers who wish to postpone their flights to and from Manila scheduled from July 22 to 25. Passengers may avail of a free rebooking and travel fund up to two (2) hours before their scheduled time of departure.

CEB strongly advises its passengers not to proceed to the airport unless they have confirmed bookings for flights which are currently still planned to operate. Please monitor the status of your flights via https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status or on the CEB mobile app and update your contact details via the Manage Booking portal https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking to receive email and SMS notifications on flight reminders.

For OFWs and Travelers , it is important to know the restrictions on check-in luggage and hand carry at the airport to avoid delays, fines, or confiscation of items.

🛄 Prohibitions in Check-in and Hand Carry at Airport

🧳 HAND CARRY (CABIN BAG) usually 7KG only

Here are the Strictly NOT ALLOWED ‼️

❌ Sharp stuff
• Swordsman, knife, scissors
• Screwdriver, blade, tools

Even if it's small, it's really forbidden.

❌ Liquid exceeding 100ml
• Lotion, shampoo, toothpaste, perfume
• Water, softdrinks, milk

It should only be in 100ml per container and can fit in a 1-liter transparent ziplock.

❌ Lighter, delayed
• Torch lighters are not allowed
• There is only one lighter that can be carried and it should be in the pocket, not in the bag

❌ Power bank exceeding 27,000 mAh (100 Wh)
• Check how expensive your power bank is.
• Should be in hand carry only, check-in is not allowed.

❌ Explosives, fireworks, toy guns, stun gun

Whether toys or prop, not allowed in the cabin.

🚫 CHECK-IN BAGGAGE IS NOT ALLOWED
