Pray. Pray. Pray

The Mother of Sorrows weeps. She knows it all about children, little boys aged 12 and the ruthless ways of Herod's crew.....Where they see death as an answer.

NO! Where violence rocks dialogue has died before, it is only signs that take over and these are stones and words and some like bombs explode. A 12 -year-old boy died at Rongai due to hemorrhage, severe bleeding after 8 gunshotss into his tiny ribcage.

The mother is shattered of course and indeed half dead with pain. Where violence comes from a gun bought with the money of taxpayers to protect the people, compassion, anger, justice, peace all fail. We can never, ever give justice to this boy, nor his mother or Kenya or the world.

2020...We talk about someone who is alive and talks herself to us.... is with us...prayer and reflection are not out of the way.... Mary of Nazareth.... We start afresh by looking at suffering and joy.... and how they relate... Mother Mary's First Joy was the Annunciation.... An archangel called Gabriel which means the Strength of God, appears to her as she sits in a humble house.... and says to her... "Hail Mary....." She learns that She has found favour.... She learns that She can say yes of no.... and she says... "Yes!"
"Let it be done to me according to your word. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us.... "
