Sabuk Lodge The lodge is now closed The perfect 'escape to' and base from which to enjoy fabulous fly-camping and camel safaris.

Accomodation:
6 spacious and fabulously situated en-suite and open stone & thatched cottages. All with private verandahs and stunning views (some also have star-beds for those who want to gaze upon the stunning African night sky)

How to get there:
Air charters to Loisaba Airstrip
Scheduled air-service: Daily flights from Nairobi- Loisaba air strip and upon request
Drive to: Approximate 6-hour d

rive from Nairobi; 2-hour drive from Nanyuki

Activities:
Guided bush walks, game drives, camel safaris and full/half day excursions, fly-camping, cultural visits, bush-breakfasts and picnic lunches on the riverbank, hill-top sun-downers, line fishing, river-swimming, tubing and rock jumping (seasonal) as well as horse riding.

We hate farewells, and now we find it's time to say goodbye to Sabuk, whilst this is with much sadness and a heavy heart, it is also an incredibly exciting time for conservation and the future of Sabuk.

Verity and her wonderful dedicated team have worked tirelessly for the past 16.5 years, looking after guests and creating one of the most iconic lodges and safari experiences in Laikipia.

Sabuk closes it's doors indefinitely on 31st August, more news as soon as we know it. Sabuk has been sold to Loisaba Community Trust.

We will miss the team greatly and Verity's knowledge and sense of adventure and all her stories that have kept us entertained!
