We are pleased to report the successful rehabilitation of the trail connecting Hannington Campsite to Fig Tree Campsite in , implemented through SGP7 project funding by UNDP.
The activity was fully executed by local community members, reinforcing community ownership, creating short-term livelihoods, and ensuring sustainability of the intervention.
The works have significantly improved trail safety, accessibility, and environmental integrity, enhancing the experience for hikers, conservation teams, and eco-tourism stakeholders.
This milestone reflects the strength of community-driven conservation, effective use of donor funds, and practical collaboration between development partners and local beneficiaries.
