Leopards in Masai Mara: Masai Mara is much famous with the big cats as its much easier to spot them in the reserve including the hardest which needs an eagle eye in order for you to spot can be easily seen in Masai Mara (Leopards)

Scientifically called Panthera pardus (Leopard) is the shiniest, Smallest and dangerous cat in the big four. It’s out of that some part of the reserve was named as Leopard Gorge which is located around the small water pool that attracts more Impalas, kobs, warthogs, Gazelles and many more grassers that come there to quench their thirst.

The area is rocky with big fig trees that favor the breeding pace of the leopards as the young ones are hidden in the caves and the big ones set themselves as traps in the big fig trees for easy hunt. The tree makes it an added advantage since leopards prefer eating while on top and keeping the balance of their food for the next meal safe from Lions, Hyenas and other predators who feed on flesh.

*Day 1. Nairobi - Mara*

Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to Narok town for last stop over then drive to your lodge, for hot lunch have a rest then proceed for evening game drive for an Afternoon game drive followed by dinner and overnight stay at your camp

*Day 2: Masai Mara*

Full day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5.

Morning and afternoon game drives are offered.

Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 500 per person.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe:

over 450 species of animals have been recorded here.

You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras,buffalo,warthogs,hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.

It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place.

This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania)in search of water and pasture.

After breakfast visit the Masai village to learn more about the Masai culture then depart to Lake Nakuru

The Lake lies in the park and has been given the conservation world's Ramser Site designation.

It is the most famous of The Great Rift Valley lakes with "the world's greatest ornithological spectacle".

There is an opportunity of viewing over two million flamingos along with tens of thousands of other birds.

The Lake is very shallow and the level fluctuates by up to four metres annually.

When the water is low the soda crystallises out along the shoreline as a blinding white band of powder. There are areas of grassland, bush, forest and rocky cliffs and there are many other animals to be viewed, white rhino, the Rothchild giraffe, waterbucks, warthogs, large herds of buffalo, Thomson's gazelle, leopard, hyrax, hippos and many more animals

*Day 4. Lake Nakuru / Lake Naivasha / Nairobi*

You will have an early breakfast and depart by 7 am straight to the park.

Its a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals.

7 days Kenya camping safari is now upgraded to a Kenya budget safari and clients spend the nights in comfortable accommodation. There are now permanently fixed tents attached with washrooms and hot water showers. Kenya Camping Safari is a group joining safari package and can be booked by a solo traveler. DAY 1: NAIROBI – MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE.
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or direct from Airport and be transferred to our office for Kenya camping safari briefing. Meet other tourists and Kenya Safari driver guide between 0800 hrs and 0830 hrs, together with start the safari and drive to Masai Mara. Make a stopover at the great rift valley viewpoint to witness the escarpment wall and Narok town for early lunch. Arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp in the late afternoon for check-in, freshen up and proceed for an introductory game drive. Search for the Masai mara game reserve wild animals till you witness the sunset, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE.
After breakfast, your guide will pick you from your camp at 0745 hrs or early and proceed on a full-day game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya with a good road network that allows for close-range viewing of the animals. Break for your picnic lunch near the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. After the evening game drive optional visit the Masai Village at an extra fee payable direct. Dinner, Bonfire, and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

DAY 3: MASAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK.
Early morning game drive at Masai mara game reserve to track the wild cats the predators and other animals the prey while grazing on wet grassland. See the sunrise and return to the campsite for a full breakfast, check out and leave the Masai mara region for Lake Nakuru. Arrive at Nakuru town CityMax Hotel in the early evening, check-in, and before dinner at 1900 hrs relax or take a nature walk. Later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – LAKE NAIVASHA.
Breakfast at the Nakuru hotel, check out before 0800 hrs, and drive to Lake Nakuru National park for a game drive. Visit the Rhinoceros sanctuary to see the endangered black and white rhinos and the lake to search for the pink flamingos. Lake Nakuru National Park is small in size but its beauty is worth a visit, drive to the baboon cliff for a thrilling view of the baboons. Between 1030 hrs and 1100 hrs exit Lake Nakuru and drive to Naivasha to arrive in time for hot lunch. Afternoon and evening spent at leisure with an option to drive to the lake for an optional boat ride at extra cost. Dinner and overnight will be served at Taphe Guest Resort Naivasha.

DAY 5: HELL’S GATE – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.
Depart the hotel immediately after breakfast and drive to Hell’s Gate for registration, decide to cycle, or enjoy a drive. Hell’s gate national park is one of the places in Kenya where you can walk alongside the wild animals as there no predators. Take great pictures with an animal background as you descend down to the Hell’s Gate Gorge. At the Gorge, you can enjoy a guided nature walk with the local guides to spice up your Kenya safari memories. Later ascend to the gate exit and leave Naivasha with a stopover for hot lunch and drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrive at Kimana Amboseli Camp before sunset for check-in, relaxation, dinner, Bonfire, and overnight.

DAY 6: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.
Amboseli National Park the land of the large herds of Elephants and immense views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After breakfast leaves with packed picnic lunches to enable an extensive game drive in Amboseli National Park. Cross the Amboseli national park plains with a game drive and up-close encounters with wild animals. Stopover at the Amboseli national park viewpoint for amazing views of this park, picnic lunches at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Visit the swampy area for an exciting game drive as elephants graze and bathe in abundance. In the evening exit the park and drive to the campsite for an optional activity, dinner, bonfire, and overnight.

DAY 7: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – NAIROBI.
Early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park to enjoy final wild animal viewing and take the last safari clicks. Witness the safari and views of Mount Kilimanjaro, return to the campsite for a full breakfast, check out and leave Amboseli. Drive to Kenya Tanzania Namanga border or drive to Email for a bus to Mombasa or return back to Nairobi.
