Very few people ever said much of anything negative about Dolly Parton. She was incredibly successful in entertainment and business, she gave millions to charity work and also much of her time and labor, and most everyone who had ever met her says that she was a very nice person who never forgot her roots. She was a great person and a great American, and it doesn't bother me at all that President Trump is honoring her by lowering our flag for a week. Great Americans deserve to be honored, and she was truly a great American who was loved by millions.
However, being loved as a great American doesn't make one a Christian with a home in heaven. Earlier today I asked if anyone had a clip of Dolly Parton ever giving a clear conversion testimony. As expected, no one did. Like most famous people, it appears that she loved the world too much to forsake it for Christ. She is on record saying and doing many things that run contrary to Christ and God's word, so it is not safe to assume that she was a true Christian. Her life fruit just doesn't back that up. Could she have received Christ in her final days? Sure, but there's no evidence of it, at least not that I've heard or seen.
Yet, the world and many blind Christians will talk this woman into heaven simply because she was a good and nice person who was loved by many.
Not if we are to believe the words of Jesus from John 14:6: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man comes into the Father, but by me." Dolly might have been good by worldly standards, but not good enough to be good by God's standard (Rom. 3:10-12). If she died without Christ, then the sad truth is she's not in heaven. I sincerely hope that's not the case.
I don't know if she repented before her death only God knows,I really pray she did. ✨📖✨🙏
