The Mombasa Elephant Tusks also known as Pembe za Ndovu, are iconic aluminum monuments in Mombasa, Kenya. They were built in 1956 to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's visit to the coastal city. The tusks, shaped like elephant ivory, form an arch over Moi Avenue, symbolizing Mombasa as the gateway to East Africa. Over time, they have become a major landmark and a popular tourist attraction.
